COD measurement for breweries
The CCM 9585 is an instrument which is used for COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) measurement in the influent flow of wastewater treatment plants in the beer industry. For this COD application, a calibration matrix is used to measure the concentration with a high degree of accuracy.
CCM 9585 determines the COD concentration with an ultrasonic probe that includes a PT100 temperature sensor and an electrodeless conductivity probe. The analyser also measures the attenuation and acoustic impedance. The ultrasonic probe is made of 316L or Hastelloy and PEEK, and is normally mounted in a pipe line, reservoir or launder by means of a fixed UTP tank probe or by a spool piece.
